Susan Silverstein (Davis), Ph.D., 86, of Woodbridge, CT., formerly of Park Slope, Brooklyn, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2024. Dr. Silverstein profoundly impacted many through her dedicated psychology practice on Staten Island in the 70s, 80s, and 90s. She was predeceased in 2021 by Paul Harvey Davis, M.D., her husband of 50 years. Susan is lovingly remembered and sorely missed by her family and countless friends, all of whom cherish the memories and lasting influence of her compassionate care, friendship and humor. Marie Piro, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, mother-in-law, and grandmother, passed away with her loving family at her side on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024. Born in Brooklyn, to Gerald and Anna Moore, Marie’s warmth and generosity touched all who knew her. For 26 years, she served as a secretary at the International Longshoremen Association, where she was not only integral to the operations but also formed many enduring friendships. Claire Theresa Camera, as she died in her family’s loving embrace on Feb. 6, 2024. Claire, 69, and born on June 26, 1954, battled with advanced Alzheimer’s Dementia but it never stopped her sparkle of life and love for all people. She is survived by her loving husband Michael Camera, her four children (Michael Jr, Janeen, Courtney, and Brianna), and her five grandchildren (Liam, Scarlett, Rhys, Lino and Luca). She is also survived by her loving sisters, Terry, Eileen, and Maureen. Claire worked as an obstetric ultrasound technician and truly loved sharing in the celebration of new life with her patients. Andrea P. DiVernieri Drucker, 63, of Staten Island, passed away Wednesday Feb. 7, 2024, surrounded by loving family.Andrea, a beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, is survived by her husband Perry Drucker, daughter Amanda (John Huber) Drucker, son Matthew (Bobbie Burrows) Drucker, sisters Josephine DiVernieri and Roseann DiVernieri, nephew Theodore (Jessica Marino) Cotter, niece Elizabeth (Michael) O’Callaghan and many of her beloved friends. In the early morning hours of Feb. 5, 2024, Arthur E. Lindemann Jr. of Westerleigh lost his battle with Lewy body dementia/Parkinson’s disease. Born to Dorothy and Arthur E. Lindemann in 1940, and most of his childhood was spent in Westerleigh where he attended PS 30. He then went on to Curtis H.S. After graduating from Curtis, Art joined the US Navy. He served from 1959 to 1961 aboard the USS Aeolus, which he spoke of often and with many fond memories. He was then in the reserves until 1964.After being discharged, Art found a job at Statwood Home Improvements and met his good and forever friend Karl Schultz. Art always spoke of his days at Statwood, and how it helped him move on to be a productive partner of Woodart Home Improvements.Art joined the New York City Fire Department in 1965 and spent 24 years doing a job he truly loved, retiring out of Ladder 83. Linda McGowan of Rosebank passed away at her home on Feb. 6, 2024. The daughter of Nelly and Albert Limardo, she spent her teenage years in Middle Village, Queens after moving from Puerto Rico.She and her husband, Thomas share five children. Michele M. (nee DiLella) Reina, 97, entered into eternal life on Friday, Feb. 2, 2024 at Avalon Assisted Living at Bridgewater in Bridgewater, NJ, with loving family at her side.
