I have noticed the Lunatic Cultist doesn't drop anything in expert mode, which is quite upsetting, so I suggest that he gives an accessory similar to the black belt. This accessory will give you a chance to dodge an attack, but when you succeed you spawn a large dragon that attacks the enemies for a few seconds (similar to the cultist himself).
I also suggest that the pumpkin moon and the frost moon mini bosses (Morning Wood, Pumpking, Headless Horseman and Everscream, Santa NK1 Ice Queen) each having a chance of dropping their own Treasure Bag in expert mode towards the end of the event (similar to the trophies).
My idea is that Morning Wood, Pumpking and the Headless Horseman would drop material pieces to make a powerful item and same for the Frost Moon mini bosses. Possibly for the pumpkin moon event an accessory that spawns flaming pumpkin heads that spawn around the player when standing still. For the Everscream, Santa NK1 and the Ice Queen, perhaps material items used to craft a accessory that when you kill an enemy they have a chance to drop presents, these presents would contain a few hearts to heal the player.
Maybe even a expert dungeon guardian treasure bag as well? Maybe we should make the guardian faster though to make it more intense, though he should drop vanity.
These ideas are very rough and I spent a mere five minutes thinking up each of them. Feel free to share what you would want them to drop also.

No I think this is the correct section. As for the dungeon guardian one I must say no, the reason the dungeon guardian drops anything is bragging rights. If you added an accessory to that it might be a bit unbalancing.

Why would it be unbalancing? It doesn't have to be something that adds 1000% more damage to your attacks all because he hits the hardest in the game
I was thinking he would drop a summoning weapon (and increased in size and damage as it is used more instead of allowing more minions, similar to the stardust dragon)

Oh, I didn't know these bosses you cited don't drop Treasure bags in expert. Unfortunate to know, and I totally support the idea.
But since they are "Minor bosses" perhaps their bags could drop parts used in a single item, or just vanity items.

I was intending the pumpkin moon + frost moon bosses to drop material items in their treasure bags during their moons but at the very last waves only.

Don't try to put words in my mouth. I wasn't talking about any hypothetical bonus.
Besides, the dungeon guardian isn't a boss. It's a beef gate.

All because he isn't a boss doesn't mean he cannot drop anything unique. That's like saying souls of light, night, and flight should be dropped of bosses because the mechanical bosses drop the majority of souls (if you count Ocram).
But you are right, the dungeon guardian isn't a boss but he uses the same sprite as Skeletron (who is a boss) and the dungeon guardian is very difficult to kill. Expert mode dungeon guardian would be pretty badass and he should drop a awesome reward for the immense challenge he would give.

He does drop something unique. The bone key.

No to everything in that statement.
The majority of souls are dropped by normal hardmode enemies even if you include ocram.

Looks like a boss=/=Is a boss

It's because it's a beef gate. An enemy so ridiculously powerful that you aren't expected to win.

Have you noticed that all the other things that give treasure bags either drop crafting materials or they drop powerful equipment themselves? Dungeon guardian has no equipment, no crafting materials, and the only drop it does have is for bragging rights.

I also disagree with the dungeon guardian dropping anything other than vanity items. Not much could be done to expert dungeon guardians to make them better without making them entirely unkillable, so I don't see why you would get better drops from killing them.

I like these ideas, but the Dungeon Guardian loot should be some sort of Vanity item, and the Headless Horseman isn't actually a boss, just a strong enemy/miniboss like Paladins.

Yeah, didn't really get why they wanted Headless Horseman to get one. All he drops is his (non) head.
