Cheap Atlanta Braves Tickets 2024 | Tour dates & Venues | TicketX (2024)

Incredibly, the Atlanta Braves had already been around almost a century as a franchise when they moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1966, having starting out in Boston as the Red Stockings, the Red Caps, the Beaneaters, the Doves, the Rustlers, the Braves, the Bees, and the Braves once more. Ever since their dominance of the National League in the 1990s (during which they won 1 World Series and lost 4), it has been impossible to imagine MLB without the Atlanta Braves. The team struggled in the 2000s until 2020, when the Braves squeaked into the Wild Card, then swept the Cincinnati Reds and Miami Marlins before falling to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS. Undeterred, the team went one better in 2021, with a World Series MVP performance by Jorge Soler taking Atlanta to a World Series victory over the Houston Astros. Can the Braves win another one in 2024 or will their fans be left waiting decades again? Get your Atlanta Braves tickets from TicketX and be there to find out!

Rival Teams

Nothing gets MLB baseball fans on the edges of their seats like seeing their team square off against a major rival. Here are two of the Atlanta Braves’ most significant rivalries.

Atlanta Braves vs New York Mets

Ever since the New York Mets swept them in the 1969 National League Championship Series (NLCS), the Atlanta Braves have had a chip on their shoulder when it comes to the Mets. This rivalry really got going, however, in the 90s and 2000s, when the two teams met in several playoff series and decisive regular season games, with the Braves emerging triumphant on all occasions, including once on a walk-off walk in the 1999 NLCS, denying the Mets an appearance in the World Series. These two NL East rivals are set to meet a whopping 14 times in the 2024 MLB season, with 7 games in Atlanta and 7 games in the Big Apple.

Atlanta Braves vs Washington Nationals

The rivalry between the Atlanta Braves and the Washington Nationals is quite a recent one, catching fire from 2010 as the Nats emerged as major challengers to the Braves in the NL East. It has never been a particularly nasty rivalry as far as MLB rivalries go, but let’s just say that when the Braves meet the Nationals towards the pointy end of the season, everyone knows what is at stake. The two rivals will meet one another a massive 13 times in 2023, with 7 games in Atlanta and 6 games in the nation’s capital, Washington, D.C.

2024 MLB Season Predictions

Which Teams Will Go To the 2024 MLB Playoffs?

There will be12 teamswho make the 2024 Playoffs: six from the American League and six from the National League. Four of the six will have to play in theWild Card Seriesto try to advance to the ALDS and NLDS. Last year, the AL’s 5th-seededTexas Rangersand the NL’s 6th-seededArizona Diamondbacksshocked the baseball universe by advancing to the 2023 World Series, where the Rangers defeated the Diamondbacks, 4-1.

It doesn’t seem either of those teams will get to the2024 World Series, with traditional powerhouses like theNew York YankeesandLos Angeles Dodgersoff to nice stars in their leagues behind Juan Soto and Shohei Ohtani. And with upstart teams like theBaltimore Orioles, Cleveland Guardians, and Kansas City Royals in the AL and theAtlanta BravesandPhiladelphia Philliesin the NL, there will certainly be four good teams playing in the ALCS and NLCS.

Which Two Teams Will Go To the 2024 MLB World Series and Why?

There seem to be only five teams—two from the AL and three from the NL—who could end up meeting in the2024 World Series. The Yankees have been a pleasant surprise in the Senior Circuit, and oddsmakers at DraftKings currently have Aaron Judge and the Bronx Bombers at +600 (6/1) to win the Fall Classic, with their AL East rivals, the Baltimore Orioles, priced at +900 (9/1).

In the Junior Circuit, things should be a little bit harder with the Dodgers (3/1), Braves (4/1), and Phillies (+850). Two of these three solid teams are likely to have to go through one of the others in both the NLCS and NLCSjust to get tothe World Series.

With Soto playing so well in the Bronx and big bats like Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, and Anthony Rizzo, look for the Yankees to be in the World Series with the Orioles more talented but still very young. And despite the generational talent of the Braves and Dodgers rosters, look for the Phillies to find a way to advance in October.

Why? Philadelphia’s infield is tremendous, withBryce Harper(1B), Bryson Stott (2B), Trea Turner (SS), and Alex Bohm (3B). With pitchers Ranger Suárez (8-0) and Aaron Nola (6-2) off to great starts, the Phillies should find a way to outscore all opponents and knock off the Yankees in the 2024 World Series.

2024 MLB World Series Prediction:

Phillies over Yankees, 4-2

When do the 2025 MLB Preseason and 2025 Regular Season start for the Atlanta Braves?

The first pitches of the MLB preseason (Spring Training) are generally thrown in late February, continuing through March until the regular season opener in late April. Like all MLB teams, the Atlanta Braves usually play approximately 25-30 preseason games at various locations (generally in warmer climates) followed by the 162 games of the regular season. The MLB regular season finishes at the end of September, followed immediately by the MLB Playoffs/Postseason in October. Fans should note that some preseason games take place in non-MLB North American markets or even overseas in other countries (such as South Korea in 2024).

Why should you consider buying tickets to Atlanta Braves preseason games?

Although preseason games do not contribute to any team’s success in the MLB regular season standings, you shouldn’t completely write them off! Not only are tickets to preseason games much cheaper, but they also allow baseball fans the earliest sneak peek at exciting new draft picks and other young players who could bolster the Atlanta Braves lineup in the upcoming season. And with tickets at cheaper prices from TicketX, premium seats are also much more affordable, so you can get right up close to the infield to see (and hear) all the action!

Trade Rumors and Draft Picks

With their 2021 World Series win still a warm memory, the Atlanta Braves will be looking to add that one missing special ingredient into their squad somehow via free agents, new talent from the draft, or trades with other franchises. The 2024 MLB trade deadline is July 30, meaning that the Braves will need to move quickly if they are to get their hands on one of their top trade targets such as Mauricio Dubón (Houston Astros), Amed Rosario (Tampa Bay Rays), or Brendan Rodgers (Colorado Rockies).

Truist Park

Truist Park opened in 2017 as the shiny new home of the storied Atlanta Braves, sporting a very attractive design with extensive brickwork and a warm open layout. The place had quite the christening as a baseball park, witnessing six exciting postseason campaigns in its first seven seasons, including two World Series. In 2021, the Braves defeated the Houston Astros in six games to seal the franchise’s fourth-ever league title in front of a wild hometown Truist Park crowd. Along with all regular season and playoff Braves home games, Truist Park also occasionally hosts college sports and concerts, as well as other large scale events. Anyone arriving at Truist Park on an empty stomach won’t be hungry for long, with delicious offerings like Atlanta smokehouse BBQ, double-stack cheeseburgers, and sweet popsicles (sold from a traveling popsicle stand!) on the menu. There is also excellent craft beer sold on site.

How to get to Truist Park

The only way to get to Truist Park via public transportation is the city bus (either CobbLink or MARTA buses), which may be a challenge based on your location. Most guests choose to arrive at Truist Park in a taxi or their own cars, as the ballpark is located outside the busy core of Atlanta itself. That said, traffic is always a potential headache, so try to budget plenty of time. There is plenty of parking within a short walk of Truist Park, but it is still best to reserve a prepaid spot in advance ($20-50). Check the MLB’s official Braves website for maps, driving directions, and parking instructions.

Truist Park Bag Policy

The Truist Park bag policy recommends that fans ideally not bring any bags at all. If necessary, bags must not exceed 16″ x 16″ x 8″ in size. Diaper bags, medical bags, and single compartment drawstring bags are allowed.

Truist Park Rules

Truist Park has an extensive list of rules set up to try and ensure a safe and enjoyable day at the venue for everyone. Most of these are common sense, but some of the most significant rules include:

  • Alcohol alcohol cannot be brought into the venue from outside. Valid photo ID is required to purchase alcohol. Each guest can only have 2 alcoholic beverages (max) in their possession at any one time.

  • Conduct no smoking, insulting or profane language, fighting, littering, throwing objects, or trying to enter the playing area (such conduct may result in prosecution).

  • Signs and Banners small signs are permitted but must not obstruct the view of other guests or display offensive, indecent, or derogatory messages (or commercial/advertising material). They must be made of soft material (no metal, wood, etc.).

  • Exit/Entry - once you’re in, you’re in. You cannot re-enter Truist Park twice on the same ticket. The only exception is for emergencies requiring evacuation.

Visit the stadium’s A-Z guide page for a full list of rules at Truist Park.

Hotels Near Truist Park

A huge number of famous hotels can be found within walking distance (or a short cab ride) of Truist Park, including the Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta-Galleria, Omni Hotel at the Battery Atlanta, and Tru by Hilton Atlanta. There is also a 4-star hotel with rooms overlooking the stadium!

Truist Park Seating Chart

Truist Park is a big venue containing many different seating options for visitors to choose from. Those looking to watch the game in style can opt for premium seating such as the Delta Sky360 Club, which is composed of seats in the infield between the dugouts, affixed with tables for comfortable drinking and dining with a great view of the on-field action. Throughout most of the stadium, a broad assortment of general seating can be found, with everything from more expensive seats lower down and closer to the infield to cheaper options higher up or past the outfield fence. Special attention was devoted when constructing the ballpark to ensuring that those in the upper tiers would have much better views than they had at Turner Field, and the result is a much improved experience for all fans attending games. TicketX is the place to find out which tickets are available to games and events at Truist Park. Our useful seating chart is also a great way to compare different seating options.
