Ucluelet Co-op is inviting applications for the position for a full-time Bakery Clerk.*What you?ll do:*As a member of the Bakery department team, a Bakery Clerk is responsible for* Come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude* Be dependable for all scheduled shifts* Provide outstanding courteous customer service* Be familiar with and adhere to all Ucluelet Co-op policies and procedures* Prepare, package, price and stock product as required and assigned* Frost and decorate cakes or other baked goods* Maintain and display all types of bakery products according to standards* Provide proper maintenance and clean equipment regularly* Be familiar with and adhere to all sanitation and personal hygiene policies of the co-op and government legislation* Advise the manager when orders for replenishment of inventory are required and ensure proper mark-down reports* Other duties as assigned*Who you are:** Previous experience in a customer service role preferred* Previous food preparation/ bakery experience an asset* Strong communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to work effectively in a team environment* Attention to detail and accuracy* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours)* Physically demanding tasks including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and occasional stair climbing*What We Offer:** Fully Employer Paid Benefits Package (Extended Health Care, Dental, Life Insurance, Long-Term Disability Insurance)* Pension Plan* Employee Family Assistance Program* Competitive bi-weekly wages within the retail market* Regular milestone increases every 1040 hours up to 10400 hours* Tuition Assistance* Opportunities for further development and advancement*How to Apply:*If you?re interested in joining our team, please email your resume to hr@uclueletcoop.com or apply in person.
