Aleksander Jozef Czubat, 50, of Rocky Hill, beloved husband for 30 years of Anna Zofia (Partyka) Czubat, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at the Hospital of Central Connecticut. Born in Jezowe, Poland on February 24, 1973, son of the Maria (Wasik) Czubat of Nowy Kamien, Poland and the late Eugeniusz Czubat, he was raised in Poland and immigrated to the United States in 1994 and settled in Hartford.

After four years, Aleksander and his family moved to Rocky Hill where he lived up until the time of his passing. Aleksander worked as a CNC machinist throughout his career and was well-known for his attention to detail and his ability to learn new concepts and processes quickly.

In his spare time, he enjoyed watching soccer, fishing off Block Island, RI, and playing ping pong in his league in New Britain. He loved tending to his vegetable garden at home as well as his fruit trees in his backyard and picking wild mushrooms. Aleksander was never shy and always spoke his mind and never backed down from negotiating for a bargain.

He was a parishioner of SS. Cyril & Methodius Church in Hartford since he came to the United States in 1994.

In addition to his wife and mother, he leaves two sons, Tomasz Czubat of Rocky Hill and Damian Czubat and his fiancé Allison “Ally” Gates of Middletown; four brothers, Andrzej Czubat and his wife Krystyna of Rocky Hill, Boguslaw Czubat of New Britain, Marek Czubat and his wife Monika of Poland, and Piotr Czubat and his wife Lucyna of Poland; 12 nieces and nephews, Victoria Czubat (his Goddaughter) and David Czubat both of Rocky Hill, Michal, Karolina, Julia, and Milena Czubat all of Poland, Natalia Partyka (his Goddaughter), Aleksandra, Sebastian, and Damian Partyka all of Poland, and Adrian and Eric Gadomski of Southington; his father and mother-in-law, Tadeusz and Wieslawa Partyka of Hartford; two brothers-in-law, Kazimierz Partyka and his wife Krystyna of Poland, and Jacek Partyka and his wife Anna of Poland; a sister-in-law, Monika Gadomski and her husband Wojciech of Southington; and many cousins in Poland. Besides his father, he was predeceased by a brother, Janusz Czubat.

His family will receive friends on Thursday, September 21, 4-7 p.m., at the Waszkelewicz South Green Memorial Home 43 Wethersfield Ave., Hartford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Friday, September 22, 10 a.m., at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, 63 Popieluszko Court, Hartford.
